DESCRIPTION:Hunter Region Botanic Gardens will be taking part in the GREAT AUSTRALIAN FUNGI HUNT! \nThe Great Australian Fungi Hunt is a nationwide citizen science bioblitz coordinated by Fungimap\, Australia’s national fungi mapping organisation. \nHappening every year\, it invites the public to explore local environments\, photograph native fungi\, and upload their discoveries to iNaturalist to help map the country’s incredible fungal diversity. \nEmeritus Professor Tim Robert will be here with a talk entitled “The hidden half of the planet – an introduction to fungi”. \nThen join us as we go and hunt and photograph for fungi.
